Railway Diwali Bonus (RBE No. 91/2024) Notice Key Highlights:

  • Bonus Amount:
    Employees will receive a bonus equivalent to 78 days’ wages. For those earning more than ₹7000 per month, the bonus will be calculated based on a notional wage of ₹7000.

  • Eligibility Criteria:
    To qualify for the PLB, employees must:

    • Not be under suspension.
    • Not have quit, retired, or expired during the financial year 2023-24.
    • Be on leave with salary not less than average pay.
  • Fixed Bonus Amount:
    Eligible employees will receive a fixed bonus of ₹17,951 as part of the PLB for the financial year.

  • State Railway Provident Fund (SRPF) Contributions:
    Subscribers to the State Railway Provident Fund (SRPF) can choose to deposit all or part of their PLB amount into their SRPF accounts, enhancing their savings.

  • Disbursement Process:
    The PLB will be disbursed in the same manner as salary payments, with a priority on timely delivery.

  • Administrative Compliance:
    This order has been issued with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
